Best alfredo sauce ever (no I am serious the best!)

Melt 2 cubes of butter in large pot. When melted, add 1/2 block cream cheese (4oz) cut into cubes. Whisk together and add 2 pints(1 quart) whipping cream, 1 1/2 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese, 1 tsp. garlic salt, 1 tsp garlic powder, 2 little sprinkles of nutmeg and freshly ground pepper to taste. Heat thoroughly and pour over 2 lbs pasta(drained but NOT rinsed)

* you can thicken the sauce more if you like by adding Parmesan cheese powder from a jar.

Pastures of heaven salad

1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 tbsp. raspberry vinegar
1 tsp sugar
1 clove garlic minced

To candy almonds, sprinkle 2 to 3 tbsp white sugar and almonds in small skillet; Stir and cook over medium heat until coated.

Baby Back Ribs

These are the best ribs ever. I got the recipe from a friend in Portland and haven't made them for years but this weekend mom made them and I have to share the love!!

1 cup catsup
1 cup vinegar
1/2 cup molasses
1/2 cup honey
1 tsp. liquid smoke
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. tabasco

Combine sauce in pan and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 40-45 minutes.

Pour some sauce on ribs and wrap individually in tin foil. Cook for a minimum of 2 hours (cook as long as possible on 300 degrees)

Broil or BBQ the last 20 minutes without tin foil.
